Oakland Roots are a club who are true to its morals. The club formed Oakland Roots Justice Fund, a charitable fund that supports racial and gender justice. They have worked with local non-profit organisations as part of a community outreach effort and also were the first team in the US to join Common Goal. 

The mosaic in the crest is prominently featured on the jerseys, reminding everyone of the team's purpose. The sleek design is reminiscent of the team's first-ever jerseys released in 2019 and can be worn beyond game day as a lifestyle piece. 

Anthem Blue Cross, the team's front of jersey sponsor, is proud to continue their partnership in addressing health inequities and strengthening local Bay Area communities.
