Raheem Sterling and Clarks team up for a new collaboration that pays homage to Jamaica

Clarks Originals has teamed up with Raheem Sterling to reimagine the brand’s beloved Wallabee silhouette.

This collaboration marks Sterling's third venture with Clarks Originals, and the spotlight is now on firmly the high-top Wallabee silhouette. Expertly designed for navigating the great outdoors, the boot boasts a unique aesthetic inspired by Sterling's Jamaican heritage.

Sterling's strong ties to Jamaica are unmistakably woven into the fabric of the boot's design. The "Est 1692" imprint on the classic Clarks Originals fob pays homage to the birthdate of Kingston, Jamaica, while the heel tag proudly displays the intricate details of Jamaica's Coat of Arms foil. These design elements add a layer of cultural significance to the collaboration, making it more than just a footwear collection.

True to Clarks Originals' commitment to craftsmanship, the Wallabee boot features topstitching and signature crepe midsoles that showcase the brand's dedication to quality. The rubber outsole and lining introduce vibrant pops of orange, adding a playful contrast to the overall design. The result is a visually striking and durable boot that effortlessly captures the essence of both Clarks Originals and Raheem Sterling's personal style.

Sterling's collaboration with Clarks Originals is not his first foray into the world of fashion partnerships. His brand, SIXTEEN NINETY TWO, founded in 2021, has quickly gained recognition. This collaboration follows Clarks Originals' recent endeavours with London-based independent sneaker retailer Footpatrol, where they revamped the Wallabee boot and Desert Trek Cup silhouettes, drawing inspiration from Japanese Zen gardens.

The Raheem Sterling x Clarks Originals Wallabee boot is set to hit Clarks Originals flagship stores from December 1st.
